  Translation-related data and language lists may be stored locally on your device (e.g., local database / local storage) to improve functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide translation services;
• Convert speech to text when voice input is enabled;
• Remember your language selections and improve user experience;
• Maintain and improve app performance and reliability.

3. Third-Party Services

To provide translation functionality, your translation request content may be sent to third-party translation providers (currently including Baidu Translation API, depending on app configuration).

4. Permissions We Request

Depending on features you use, the App may request:

• Microphone permission: for voice input / speech-to-text.

If you deny microphone permission, voice input may not work, but text translation can still be used.

• Most preferences and language/history data are stored locally on your device.
• We do not require account registration in the current version.
• We do not intentionally retain more data than necessary for app functionality.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We only share data when necessary to provide core functionality (e.g., submitting translation text to the translation API provider).

7. International Data Transfer

Because third-party translation services may operate servers in different countries/regions, your translation content may be processed outside your country.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically directed to children under 13 (or applicable local age threshold). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it promptly.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

• Stop using voice input by denying microphone permission;
• Clear local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage (device settings);
